BlueRADIO was founded as a band in February of 2008.
The original two members were Haydn Rogers and Shane Husbands (Jasper), who's love of beatboxing and Soul/Folk music brought them together to record a song (Calling You).

The song came out well they thought, so they went about getting some fellow musicians together for regular jam sessions (every Tuesday to be exact) this was called the BlueRADIO project.

This is when they met the talented and extremely "energetic" James Allin, at this point they became BlueRADIO. They set about recording an album (Calling You and Hanging Up) until the summer this took most of their time, in this time they discovered the wonders of acoustic Hip-Hop.

One fateful 1147 at the cellar bar they performed there weird and wonderful new style much to the awe of Rachael and Dom.

Little did we know Rachael Medhurst had an amazing talent! Her and Shane practiced outside over a cigarette and performed a song...which rocked!
From then on Rachael was a member of the band.
Then one fine summer day Taylor Hill returned from his Europe adventure and joined as keyboardist.
They set off on a successful summer tour and released a Single "Were Not Just Sauce" (voted no.1 on Hereford and Worcester for 2008)

The BlueRADIO boys met Simon Higgs properly one drunken night (which drunken night we have no idea)... it was an acoustic night (of some sort) and were immediately thrown back by his music talent and from that point he joined as a permanent fixture in the band.

He has now given up drink... he seems kind of twitchy, but his music just gets better and better.

The later parts of 2008 Rachael left to pursue a fantastic solo album (out this year).

BlueRADIO are currently working on their second album hoping to release it by summer!
